Regarding our handling of personal information

(Our basic policy regarding the protection of personal information)

  • In consideration of the importance of protecting personal information, all personnel engaged in our business recognize their responsibilities and comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Act) and other related laws, regulations and guidelines, handle personal information appropriately, and take appropriate measures for safe management.　
  • We will thoroughly educate and instruct our employees to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately, and will work to ensure that it is handled appropriately.We will also respond promptly to complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information, and will review and improve our appropriate measures for the handling and safety management of personal information as appropriate.

    (1) Acquisition of Personal InformationWe will acquire personal information by lawful and fair means to the extent necessary for business purposes, after taking sufficient safety management measures.

    (2) Purpose of Use of Personal Information We will use the personal information we acquire for the purposes of our ① investment banking business (advising on startup M&A, large-scale IPOs, carve-outs, etc.) and ② investment banking DX business (provision of SaaS products related to ① and services incidental and related thereto (hosting events). It will not be used for any other purposes. Changes to the above purposes of use will only be made to the extent that they are reasonably deemed to be of sufficient relevance, and in the event of a change, the details will be notified to the individual in writing, as a general rule, or published on our website (URL), etc.

    (3) Measures for the Safety Management of Personal Data In order to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the personal data we handle and to otherwise manage the safety of personal data, we will take sufficient security measures, such as establishing handling regulations for safety management and an implementation system, and will take necessary and appropriate measures to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness. In the unlikely event that a problem occurs, we will promptly take appropriate corrective measures.

    (4) Regarding the provision of personal data to third parties and acquisition of personal data from third parties When providing personal data to a third party, we will not provide it to the third party without the consent of the individual, except in the following cases: ① When required by law ② When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual ③ When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual ④ When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local government, or a person commissioned by them in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual may hinder the performance of such duties Furthermore, when personal data is provided to a third party or obtained from a third party, we will confirm the circumstances of the provision/acquisition, etc., and will record and store matters prescribed by law, such as the name of the recipient and provider.

    (5) Handling of Sensitive Information We will not acquire, use, or provide to third parties any sensitive personal information (such as race, creed, social status, medical history, criminal record, criminal victim information, etc.) or information regarding labor union membership, family origin and registered domicile, health care, and sexual life (hereinafter referred to as "sensitive information"), except as provided for in the Personal Information Protection Act, other laws, regulations, and guidelines.
